The email comes directly from Carl Pei and outlines the year ahead, with the Phone (3) being mentioned as a flagship phone and “a landmark smartphone launch” set in Q1. The upcoming flagship Nothing phone will offer “breakthrough innovations in user interface” and will feature the brand’s first set of AI features.
Pei also confirmed that Nothing will expand its camera hardware and software development teams by 50%, which means the company will double down on its software and camera optimizations for current and future smartphones. Nothing is rumored to launch three smartphones in 2025, with the Phone (3) joined by the more affordable Phone (3a) powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Phone (3a) Plus.
