Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new powerhouse within the Redmi series with rumors suggesting the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be launched in April. Digital Chat Station reports a smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite (SM8735) processor will be launched next month, and the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is the probable candidate. With the Turbo series prioritizing high performance for affordable prices, the new smartphone is expected to create some ripples within the mid-to-high-end smartphone market. HyperOS 2 and POCO enthusiasts are also eagerly awaiting with bated breath as the global variant is rumored to be launched as the POCO F7.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro: What’s New?
Based on the latest leaks, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro would feature a 1.5K LTPS ultra-high frequency dimming eye-protection screen. The flat panel would feature an ultra-narrow bezel and a giant R-angle design, not only making the device good looking but also user friendly. The smartphone would also have the largest battery and the best build quality within its segment, which would make it a top contender for users who require power and battery life.
Previous Redmi Turbo 4 Specifications
For a sense of what the Turbo 4 Pro might feature, we can take a look at the Redmi Turbo 4, globally POCO X7 Pro, which launched January 2025 with a starting price point of $275 USD. The smartphone was the first device to feature the Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, paired with a 2.5D micro-arc frame, all-metal Deco, and 6.67-inch 2712×1220 flexible OLED straight screen. It also came with a large-aperture super-sensing camera just like Xiaomi’s flagships.
Global Launch as POCO F7
Reports indicate the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be released internationally under the POCO brand as the POCO F7. The device’s internal codename is “onyx”, with different model numbers for different markets:

- 25053PC47G (Global)
- 25053RT47C (China)
With the popularity of the POCO F series, the new device would be a strong player globally with flagship performance for a price within the middle segment.
