Blogger “Mocaihe” recently leaked a new spy shot of the highly-anticipated Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, and in it, the phone is clad in an unseen dark green. The leaked photo only captures the front of the phone in this unseen shade, while the sides retain the already-verified Lightning Yellow and Space Silver options. In the back, partially concealed is another vehicle, showing there is another unseen color for the SU7 Ultra.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: Enriching Its Colour Options
This latest rumor re-confirms that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is to ship in no fewer than five different colours on the exterior, but only three have so far made their official appearance: Lightning Yellow, Space Silver, and now Dark Green. Last month, Xiaomi Motors made their official appearance of the Space Silver version, and while undoubtedly striking, is somewhat less adventurous in appearance than is the bright Lightning Yellow version.
With Xiaomi’s growing forays in electric vehicles, such models in multiple colours suggest an approach to satisfy various customers, ranging from those who want edgy and sporty aesthetics to those who have a preference for sleek and subtle aesthetics.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to Hit Markets on February 27
According to previous reports by IT Home, Xiaomi is to officially unveil the SU7 Ultra on February 27 in association with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra phone. The product launching ceremony is likely to exhibit Xiaomi’s recent innovations in phone and electric vehicle businesses.
Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, also fueled anticipation for the arrival of the SU7 Ultra. On February 5, he is said to have sent red packets to senior managers, including President Lu Weibing, to celebrate their hectic workload prior to launching. Lei Jun joked in jest that if Xiaomi is able to reach their lofty annual sales target of 10,000 units for the SU7 Ultra, Lu Weibing has something special in store for him in the way of an end-year bonus—a Xiaomi SU7 Ultra vehicle!
What to Expect in the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is expected to bring top-shelf technology and premium design to electric vehicles. Although official announcements have not been made, leaked reports suggest having powerful electric motors, advanced autonomous driving, and enhanced battery range. The dark green version is also an expression of attempts by Xiaomi to offer personalisation to customers.
